Making Beats

For my project, I used techniques used in Ableton to create 2 beats. I was influenced how Hip Hop artists (namely J Dilla) flipped a variety of samples to create their own original work. My original plan was to create tutorials for school teachers and students, showing how to use Ableton to mimic old sampling devices, yet simply making beats myself proved more difficult than expected. I used Ableton's simpler and drum rack to clop the samples into interesting parts. I sampled John Lennon's "Hold On" and an acappella  of Tyler the creator's "PUPPET", then sampled the jazz standard "Misty".  Enjoy the tunes!
